Normally we use this article to look back at classic toys and their values but this month we are going to look at TTT readers Nick Zuilick and friend Richards Allis-Chalmers model farm. I met Nick and Richard at the Western New York Farm Toy Show last December. They told be Allis-Chalmers was their favorite brand and it was all they used on their 1/64 farm. That is an understatement. Nick and Richard have worked long and hard to create a full AC line up from the 1970's and 80's. What I really like about this model farm is that it reflects an era when farms were loyal to one brand and their local dealer sold them tractors, combines, tillage, planting and haying implements. Allis-Chalmers was a full line company through the 1970's and offered about any piece of eqipment a farmer would require. I hope you will enjoy looking at all the custom pieces Nick and Richard customized and purchased in 1/64 to create a farm that used to be.

Nick and Richard use the big 8550 and 4W-305 AC 4wds on their display. These 4wds were nicked named the Qeen Mary after the famous Ocean Liner for their twin smoke stacks and long front ends.

Allis-Chalmers offered the 7000 series tractors from 1973-1982. These tractors were available from 110 hp to 180 hp. Nick and Richard have models representing the 7000, 7020, 7030, 7040, 7045, 7050, 7060 and 7080. They have both maroon and black belly models with open station, ROPS and cab options.

You might even notice a 1/64 AC 7030 above modeled like this years 20th Anniversary TTT tractor. The only option missing in this tractor line up is a high crop.

The 1980's saw the last generation of AC tractors wich included the 8010, 8030, 8050 and 8070. These tractors replaced the black belly 7000 tractors in late 1982. Front Wheel Assist was a new AC option on the 8000's.

Allis-Chalmers offered plows, disks, chisel-plows, field-cultivators and corn planters. Nick and Richard use them all in 1/64.

While not well known for hay and forage implements Allis-Chalmers offered a full line through the mid-1970's. The custom AC forage harvester and belt kick baler are stand out 64th custom pieces.

Many collectors are asking for a classic 1/64 Gleaner combine. Nick and Richard use a custom N6 Gleaner on their model. It is a nice looking toy combine.
