Combines are fascinating machines living up to their names by combining several harvest functions of cutting and threshing. Toy combines are second only to tractors in popularity among collectors. Here are some high dollar combines tractors from around the net.

$211 for a 1/20th scale 1970 Ertl/John Deere 6600 chain drive real/auger and metal real. New In the Box $350. The 6600 is one of the most popular self-propelled toy combines. There are 4 other variations but the 1970 model is the earliest. This toys popularity may be that John Deere sold more 6600's than any other combine its history. In 1973 5,451 6600's were sold. This is an impressive number considering only 5,000 combines were built and sold by AGCO, CNH Global and John Deere in 2002.

$462 for a 1/20th scale 1971 International Harvester "915" combine made by Ertl. This model is the second of three variations. This model is set apart by the blue box and the models metal reel and two stacks. Out of the box this model drops to $200. The blue box in good condition adds quite a bit to this models value.

The 1/32 scale Allis-Chalmers Gleaner combine was produced by Ertl in 1967. It is one of four variations. This model is the second variation. The original 1966 model had a fixed grain head with open sides on the reel supports. This second model in mint condition has 4 open windows on the cab, a corn head and closed sides on the grain head. In mint condition it will bring $130 and new in the box $242.
