Wheat
harvest is here! It is my favorite
time of year. I love watching the
combines, balers, and planters roll as fast as they can to get harvest done and
the seed planted. So that’s why I
chose to show you how to customize a combine this month. The items you will need
for this project are side cut pliers, 3/32 round rod, 850/60/38 trelleborg
singles, and 750/50-30.5 trelleborg tires. The first thing you need to do is
remove the tires. To do this is fairly simple. You will need to wiggle the tires
back and forth until they move easily. Once
they begin to move easily pull on them until they come off.
Do the same thing to the front and rear tires.

Once
the tires have been removed you will need to add the new tires.
Cut two pieces of 3/32nd rod, 2 ¾’’ long.
Once you get these cut, take the tires and put them on the axle, line the
hole up on the tire rim to the axle. Once
you get it lined up, tap on it with a small hammer until you can see the axle
come thru the axle hole on the rim. Do
this on both the front and rear tires. The
850/60/38s are what I like to use on the drive tires on combines. For rear tires
I like to use the 750/50-30.5 tires.

And
now you have a customized John Deere 9750 sts.
There are many different ways to customize a John Deere 9750. Some of
these are a Moores detail kit. These kits make your combine really stand out.
