Time To Pull
This div will be replaced
It is June and that means it is county fair time. The fair is always a fun time to see tractor pulls, classic tractors and new machines. This month The Toy Tractor Times has a fair theme with model tractor pulling information, new vintage farm toys and news on a range of new farm toys from the Summer Toy Show in Dyersville, IA.

Our feature pulling tractor for the 2008 pulling issue is the New Holland 8260 called “The Bomb." This blue puller has recently been replicated in 1/16 scale by Gottman Toys and Spec Cast. To go along with “The Bomb's" blue power on the pulling circuit, we have several informative articles on collecting blue farm toys. For nearly 20 years New Holland tractors have carried on the proud blue tradition in tractor history that dates back to Henry Ford’s Fordson tractors. Toy Tractor Times has a review of New Holland tractors you might want to consider for your collection.

The Summer Toy Show took place in Dyersville, IA in early June. Toy Tractor Times has all the news for the show. There is a wide selection of new toys from AGCO, CaseIH and John Deere on the way this fall from Ertl, Spec-Cast and Scale Models. We have pictures and information in several articles in this month’s issue on the new products.

Next month, we will have our annual look at the wheat harvest with a focus on the original self propelled combine: Gleaner. Gleaner combines are celebrating 85 years of bringing in the harvest, and Toy Tractor Times will have exciting Gleaner videos and collector information. Since July is also the United State’s 232 birthday, you can celebrate in farm toy fashion by ordering the Toy Tractor Times 1/64 red, white and blue Steiger and Case tractor set.

We hope that you enjoy our annual look at pulling tractors and get a chance to attend your county fair and see some real pullers tearing up the track.

Until Next Times…

Jason and Stefanie Hasert
