February 2009 has been a big month for farm toy related shows. This month we take our annual look at the St. Louis Gateway Mid-America toy show. We also have news and information from the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY and the CNH Parts Fair in Nashville, TN.

The 2009 St. Louis Toy Show celebrated another successful year with over 3,000 farm toy collectors gathering to find great additions for their collections and to see all the exhibitors. The big St. Louis custom and display contest was action packed with exciting builds and model farms. There were so many great things to see in this year’s contest the Toy Tractor Times will have articles and videos from St. Louis through our June 2009 issue. Congratulations are in order for Jason Jeffers the winner of the 2009 St. Louis display contest. Jason's winning canola display is featured on Toy Tractor Times TV in this issue along with Cody Austin’s impressive rice farm display and Hector Matthys’ amazing 1/64 John Deere 9600 side hill combine.

February has been a big month for farm toy and real machine news. Stefanie are excited to make some additional news with the announcement of the 2009 Toy Tractor Times Tractor. The latest addition to the T.T.T. series is a 1/16 Massey Ferguson 65 tractor with a 3 bottom No. 62 plow. This highly detailed model will be produced by SpecCast. We appreciate the long time working relationship Toy Tractor Times has had with AGCO going back to our first Massey Harris model in 1986.
